6. Presentations:

1) Planning and Building Roundtable with Lina Velasco, Chris Castanchoa and Eva Mann from Code Enforcement presented what each department does, how many people work in each department and how to know who to contact when you have an issue.  They gave us an overview of how a project goes through the City’s system and where we fit into that system.  They talked about using the City’s eTRAKit database to find out if any building that is happening right now in your neighborhood has been permitted.  If it has not been permitted, then you should contact Code Enforcement to stop the building until they go to Planning and get their permits.  You can also contact Planning and they will have the Building Inspector go out and check the property.  The Planning Department is supposed to have all residents building in your neighborhood go to your neighborhood Council meetings or at the very least contact the NC President.  We discussed certain issues and how we can take action and whether or not we can be effective.

7. Old Business: None

8. New Business: None

9. Adjournment: the meeting was adjourned by President Stanly Anderson at 9:08 pm
