3.  After a delay for the minutes to arrive, MSP approval of minutes of meeting of May 11^th.

4.  NEIGHBORHOOD REPORTS AND INTRODUCTIONS: Carriage Hills North, Castro Heights; Cortez/Stege; Fairmede/Hilltop; Greenbriar; Laurel Park; May Valley; North & East; Panhandle Annex; Parchester Village; Point Richmond; Pullman; Quail Hill; Richmond Annex; Richmond Heights; Richmore Village; Santa Fe, and Southwest Annex.

5. REPORTS-CITY OF RICHMOND:

• PLANNING DEPARTMENT: LAMONT THOMPSON – 23^rd Street corridor planning and design charette for a week in June.
• PUBLIC WORKS: RICH DAVIDSON; Public Works overview:  Frank (sidewalks) 307-8173; Steven Tam (transportation) 307-8112; Pamela Hampton (permits) 307-8091; Edric Kwan (pavement management) 621-1825 or Any Yeung, 307-8108. If there is an issue, can always go to city website and COR Connect; all these departments are there.
• MAYOR’S OFFICE – MARILYN LANGLOIS – upcoming events Mayor wants to revitalize Community Development Commission.  This is the one commission that has assigned seats for several neighborhoods. The WCC Adult School is having its ESL summer classes cut and is in danger of losing classes in the fall. Wants to speak at neighborhood councils.
• CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE:  – BILL LINDSAY, City Manager – General Plan Administrative Draft being reviewed by Planning staff; should be released in electronic form by July 13^th.  Have through the end of the year for comment.  Pt. Molate EIR and EIS will go to City Council in September. Budget goes to CC on June 16^th –balanced, austere, holding vacant positions, adding police officers to get to 200. We can get his weekly report on the City’s website.  Councils are encouraged to do their monthly newsletters online – be green, save money and paper.
• POLICE DEPT.: ALLWYN BROWN, Captain –Shot spotter went online May 30. It works but RPD still needs people to call when they hear shots.
• ENVIRONMENTAL MGR. LYNNE SCARPA: Going digital:  what to do with TVs; paint; trash/litter at Baxter Creek. Use paper cups, plates, etc. instead of plastic.  Coastal clean-up on Sept. 19^th – 2 places.

6. PRESENTATIONS:

• Office of Neighborhood Safety, Devone Boggan.
• New Skate Park at Nicholl Park, Tony Norris, Parks Superintendent.

7. ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Williams: “Richmond Tales: Secrets of the Iron Triangle” book to be introduced.

• Roberson – Directions of use of RNCC 501 [c] 3 non-profit status.

8. NEW BUSINESS:

• Marilyn Langlois:  Meet with the Mayor now the last Friday of the month, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Richmond Rom, 1^st floor of City Hall.
